3 Meditations for Summer Zen
When it’s hot out:
As you notice the sun and sweat on your skin, try to do so with nonjudgmental awareness, said Breon Michel, a mindfulness teacher from Phoenix.
If the heat is making you restless, bring your awareness into your feet. Find a shady spot outdoors and kick off your shoes. Take a few mindful steps, paying close attention to each sensation.
When your thoughts return to the unpleasantness of the heat, just notice that. Use it as an opportunity to let go.
